This is our most heavily weighted criterion and a non-negotiable foundation of our brand. We go beyond simple ‘green-washing’ to assess tangible impacts.

  • Resource Management: Zero-emission technology, comprehensive waste sorting and recycling programs, strict prohibition of single-use plastics, and use of reef-safe amenities.
  • Conservation Contribution: Active financial or operational support for local conservation NGOs (e.g., Coral Triangle Center, WWF Indonesia). Adherence to ‘no-anchor’ zones and use of permanent mooring buoys.
  • Supply Chain Ethics: Verifiable sourcing of local and organic produce. Partnerships with suppliers who share our commitment to sustainability.

2. Safety & Regulatory Compliance (30% Weighting)

Your safety is our absolute priority. Our standards meet and exceed all local and international maritime regulations.

  • Certification & Licensing: Verification of all required government licenses, including SIUP-PARIWISATA for tourism partners and all vessel-specific certifications from the Directorate General of Sea Transportation.
  • Crew Competency: All marine crew must hold valid STCW certifications. Regular, documented safety and emergency drill training is mandatory.

Partner Audit and On-Site Verification

No partner is added to our network without a thorough vetting process, which includes an on-site inspection by our senior operations team, led by our Head of Operations. This audit involves a checklist of over 100 points covering all four pillars. Existing partners are re-audited annually to ensure continued compliance and quality.
